"Very unassuming from the outside, but with a spectacular interior. A wonderful lady at the reception. Conveniently located if you want to explore the old town and/or catch the ferry for a day trip to Morocco. For a fee, the hotel offers parking in an underground car park about 150 meters away - the only space available was too narrow for my midsize SUV, but there is an excellent public parking garage with valet service also just 150 meters away, and even slightly cheaper than what you would pay...

"This property is NOT a hostel but more like a motor inn. My husband and I made our booking online in a hurry since we were driving and had to stay the night somewhere in Tarifa. Unfortunately the usual front desk staff at Hostal El Levante were on holidays at the time but Rocio and Diego, the owners, were so wonderful and made sure everything was set up to make our check in very easy. As soon as the booking was confirmed, they sent us a message to inform us that there wouldn’t be anyone...

"Hotellet ligger i et rigtigt fint område. Men værelset er uden vindue og uden ordenligt udluftning, så vand løb ned af vægge og loft på badeværelse og det stank af klor på værelset. Hele hotellet var alt for lydt. Så vi kunne høre alle lyde fra de andre værelser, gaden samt hotellets café. Det lød næsten som om de var inde på vores værelse, så nattesøvnen blev afbrudt mange gange pga høje lyde"

"The staff made me waste a day of my holiday,because they told me there were no kitesurf courses and no trips to Tangier. There were courses, but not at their school. And there were boats too. Sometimes no toilet paper or toilet not working. Air conditioning was too low and the room damp, towels would not dry."

"WiFi did not work in our room. TV remote control did not work either, I told in reception and they gave me a new one in same condition Blankets were a bit itchy in my skin for some reason, matress was good and bathroom was clean. Price is ok for what you get, maybe you are lucky and get a room with good WiFi. Woman in reception is a bit rude."
