"After realising that you don't board the ship from the ramp at the back but from around the side we were made to feel both welcomed and special with a glass of bubbly even before check in which was seamless The only cautionary note i would give is that bathroom privacy is somewhat diminished as there is no door and the shower cubicle can be viewed by inadvertently opening the wardrobe door (Unusual to say the least )and the toilet is only partioned off by another glass door Umm !! otherwise...

"My 4th stay and possibly the best room so far with port and sea view. Very irritating doors banging day and night from other rooms. I suspect this was due to failing pneumatic door stays although some of the banging was purely from inconsiderate guests. Also sad to note That San Miguel beer was the only beer on tap. Must be the worst beer going. I understand this is because of the negotiated contract with drink suppliers. CruzCampo Special or something similar would be much better."

"It is a single room, very affordable, compared with hostels in Andalucia that charge the same but which are generally shared. Tho the bath is shared, there is a sink in the room which was very convenient. The staff was super accmmodating... for instance there was a sign that flashed at night close to the window and they adjusted it, unexpectedly and happily. Bare bones, but cheap and comfortable."

"Lovely modern hotel. We had a superior room and it was faultless! The location is tricky - just outside the Sotogrande gated community with a busy main road to walk down to get to pathways - it is however possible! Taxis are ready and waiting at the hotel but you pay 30euros return for a trip to the port. Hotel is definitely worth a stay and especially if you hire a car! "
