"The location was excellent and the staff was wonderful. Our stay at Hotel Magenta 38 was great…very close to the metro, restaurants and shopping. Would stay there again. The only tip I have is for people not to add the ‘hotel booking protection’ from Expedia because only God knows what it’s for, it doesn’t count toward your reservation and there’s basically no use/reason for it. I’ve disputed this w/ Expedia, just waiting to hear back (nothing to do with the hotel). "

Staff were kind, the hotel was tucked away on a quiet and atmospheric street, in a lively and lovely part of Paris, and my room was SO comfortable, with a real sense of calm to it. "This is a nice, no frills hotel. We arrived in Paris late in the evening and just needed somewhere for a night. The beds were comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked well and the breakfast was perfectly fine."

"Staff was very accommodating. Arrived from an early flight and we were planning to ask if we could leave our luggage in the hotel before the 2pm check-in time, however, they allowed us to have an early check-in without us asking at no extra charge. Very happy with our stay."
