It is not in a horrible part of town, but there are sketchy carriers in this part of Paris. Take the ride service offered to/from CDG. They are top-drawer! "

I stayed 7 nights, when I checked in, they resolved my room needs, since the one I got had little room to walk around and wasxkibd of dark, I got the same category but much better for a long stay. "

"I will probably stay here again when I stay in Paris. The location has some major benefits such as across the street from Gare de l'Est but also within walking distance of Gare du Nord. Being near the train station you get some sketchy individuals but I never felt unsafe. The hotel has security which is great and the front desk staff is very helpful and professional. A major bonus is the Metro station Gare de L'Est is right outside the hotel and is a larger metro station with many lines running through it so getting to the the other side of the city in any direction is easy. The hotel room was spacious especially for Europe and the bedding superb. For the price I paid it was an amazing deal. The rooms I feel are well insulated from noise, I didn't feel like the hotel was loud at all. "
