"We visited this cabin for our youngest’s 2nd birthday, and our first overnight trip as a family of four. It couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Our toddlers love watching Little House on the Prairie, and they really thought we were staying at “Laura and Mary’s” cabin. We were only about a 20 minute drive to the sledding hill at Beech mountain, and close to lots of dining options. "Our family came to Boone to celebrate our daughter's graduation from App State and we stayed at Rustic with a Chef Stove. It was a perfect place for our family! We loved playing games by the fireplace, relaxing in the hot tub and making smores around the fire pit. There were nice personal touches (well stocked coffee bar, smores stuff, welcome note and snacks) upon our arrival. It was a great weekend!"

"Great place to stay. Exactly as described. The only things i can point out was the kitchen was a little sticky on the floor and cabinet drawer handles. The fact we have to take out our own trash it a little weird since we pay for cleaning. And we were in a truck and needed to back into the actual driveway bc the turn was very sharp.But over all i highly recommend. "

"Staying here was amazing! Came out for a guys trip and there are multiple great trails near by. The property is one of the only houses at the top of the moutain. The views are beatuiful. Highly recommend staying here. The only thing is we had 3 dead mice in the house so making sure the house is clean before the guests arive would be nice. Overall though i would come back and stay"
