"We really enjoyed our stay. The people are very nice. Our hotel room felt like a cabin. Refrigerator, microwave, television, whirlpool bath, hot water, everything worked. The towels and wash rags were a little flimsy, and the floor might have been vacuumed a teeny bit better, but for the rustic feel, everything was very nice. We would definitely come back. 4-wheel drive is a very good idea!"

"Beds were very comfortable. We stayed in a king 1 bedroom. Our daughter slept on the pullout couch which she said was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. We will be staying here again. "

"We stayed at this property the week before July 4th, the house had enough space for our group of 18 people, the views of the property and the neighbor's horses were amazing. We especially enjoyed the open back yard area where we played many rounds of corn hole and the tennis courts. The temperature was wonderful for the middle of summer so we all enjoyed being outside. We even ate two of our dinners on the back porch as there were 3 tables and plenty of room for us. The kitchen was great for...

"We enjoyed spending time with friends and family for a long weekend. We had three families stay at the house and we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the long weekend. We enjoyed skiing and playing in the snow. Great location! "

"The house and property were amazing. We had a great time even though it was just for a weekend. We toured App State and had a wonderful time at the house. It accommodated 12 of us perfectly and we would highly recommend anyone to reserve the property. The views are spectacular! The management company responded quickly to all of our questions. "Happy it was only for 1 night. While the property is beautiful it has some serious AC/Heat issues. The upstairs was miserable and the downstairs cold regardless of how we adjusted the thermostat. The dead mouse at the front door was interesting and not sure how whomever cleaned prior to us didn’t see it. The light outside is on a sensor and went off all night. There are blackout curtains in the room which help. Overall nice for one night but not sure we would have been ok more than that."

"The property was a great location. Not too far from restaurants and groceries but still private. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The only negative was the animal hair we found on furniture and floors. It could have been cleaner. Overall great time had by all."
