"We booked the Zanzibar Hotel in February 2019 for a stay in August. The week before we travelled we contacted the hotel to request an airport transfer, which their website said they offered. They replied to our Expedia message by saying that the hotel was undergoing refurbishment but we would be staying in a 'sister' hotel called the Tausi Palace and a driver would pick us up from teh airport and take us there. "Overall, a very nice stay. It is conveniently located in Stone Town and for catching day trips out to Prison Island. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Food and bar options plentiful. The rooftop restaurant, bar, and pool area is quite nice. "

"Location close to many things. Location is off the regular streets. Roof top restaurant was nice and view was great. Some simple wire to keep the crows away would be nice! Room does need TVs but didn’t miss it. Wi-Fi signal needs improvement. Spa treatment was nice but location is an issue with echo and noise. "
