"In an attempt to beat all the tourists to Plitvice Lakes, we decided to drive up the night before and stay at the Plitvica Lodge so we would be one of the first to the park when the park opened at 7am. Hotels.com has the hotel listed at the incorrect address (Plitvice Selo 71/3 did not route correctly) so we got lost at 10pm - basically in the middle of nowhere - and thankfully had an international phone plan to call for directions, but roads are not well marked. "Very nice site and friendly helpful staff. Unfortunately the site is remote with no walkable footpaths and you are therefore reliant on a shuttle bus for everything. There is not even a convenience shop on site."

"Really appreciated the in floor heating in bathroom. We spent a cold rainy day in the park and this felt great on our return. Restaurant close by was very nice, great service there. "

"Our stay at Lyra Hotel was exceptional! Ana at the front desk warmly upgraded our room, adding a special touch. Breakfast was delightful, featuring fantastic local honey. Dinner was equally enjoyable, with Lazaar providing friendly and professional service. A perfect blend of comfort and hospitality—highly recommend!"

"The Staff was fantastic. They were so helpful with tips about visiting the park - which was beautiful- and we had great service in the dining area. The food was delicious- especially the dinners. We ate there both nights of our stay - it was so convenient. Just make sure you have cash for the meals at checkout. They don’t accept credit cards. "
