The property is recently, if not continuously, renovates. The room is spacious with hardwood floor. Staff is helpful to help plan our trip to the national park. One restaurant is in the building and another one next to it.

Great place to stay for a visit to Plitvice NP
Hotel Degenija was great. Clean, comfortable, great service and perfect for a hotel close to the National Parks. The two restaurants are very good. There was a bit of an issue with hallway noise from other guests at a couple points. It was short lived, but noise protection could be a bit better.

I loved my stay at Hotel Degenija. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to stay close to the Plitvice Lakes and still have the comforts of a quality hotel. It was so nice to come back to the hotel after a long day of hiking. There is no need to look elsewhere!

Everything was perfect. Conveniently located to the Plitvice lakša, which is the main attraction in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms perfectly clean and comfortable. The restaurant that is part of the hotel has limited menu, but there is a restaurant by the same name right next door and it was just fantastic. Highly recommend this property.

Great stay, really friendly staff that are always willing to help, comfy room and lovely hot tub. Food choices lacking a bit for vegetarians. Only down side was the construction work going on beside the pool area which was very noisy but the hotel is based in close proximity to the lake’s making it a great stop over point.
