"Exceptional hospitality, food, and amenities - It's a highlight of our trip. When we arrived at property, almost entire staff greeted us on the street by the entrance. Kaiseki meals were wonderful. The second floor recreation room was a happy place to be -Zen garden view, delicious snacks, drinks, and late night soup... The rooms were clean and spacious. Onsen pools were nice, especially the roof top one. We look forward to our next trip there"

"A truly amazing experience. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. A ryokan experience with a modern twist. We took the complimentary shuttle bus from Sapporo Station to the hotel. Everything about the hotel is lovely. The room is just stunning, with its own onsen. The public onsen is very nice too. The meals are Japanese cuisine at its best. Breakfast and dinner. And the setting of the restaurant overlooking the Jozankei valley! Over breakfast one morning we looked at heavy snow falling....
