"Enjoyed my stay would definitely return if accommodation needed int he area. Restaurants were great, plenty of food choices and attentive staff. REception friendly and welcoming. Plenty of people able to speak in English (way better than my Vietnamese!), comfortable beds, possibly missing the very finer finishing details in the bathrooms, but really 9/10 and and excellent standard compared to many other hotels in the area."

"Just an overnight stay. Arrived hotel around 7pm. check-in was smooth. The location about 1 km away from the main street and in the same building as a Karaoke bar. Unfortunately, my room is closed to the karaoke room and can hear the singing and music until midnight... luckily. Breakfast is average. A bowl of pho is all I took. Overall ok stay considering the price. "

"Bedsheets were not changed. Don't auto refill the stuff in the fridge. No Bathmats. Once service taken, you will be charged. Even though that service is a normal part of any hotels process. Food restaurants doesn't have marks to differentiate between vegetarian/ Non vegetarian. Looks like they are just they're for pulling out the money out of customer's pocket. "

"We had a very very good stay here for 1 night following a busy few days seeing the sights of northern Vietnam. The Moc dining dinner was one of the best meals we had in Hanoi area. Everthing made fresh for us, smoothies and coffees at breakfast were great too! Huge selection of healthy drinks. "Loved this hotel! Fully renovated boutique vibe. Very elegant, super helpful and kind staff. Location couldn’t be better. Very comfy bed and the room and balcony left us speechless! We had a balcony room , I highly recommend room 601 if you can get it. However we saw a classic/superior room as well and even those are very nice and better than most other hotels we’ve seen. Would definitely stay again!"

"This is a gem of a property located in the middle of old quarter with walking access to shopping and restaurants. The service and attention to detail is exceptional. Ruby and her staff made our stay very comfortable and were always a step ahead in recommending/ catering to our needs. Few highlights: - Water puppet show was refreshingly beautiful - Walking food tour of old quarter arranged by hotel gave a wonderful experience of local food and culture - Halong Bay (2D/1night) - sights were beautiful and service was excellent, but it is a little overpriced and can also be accomplished as a day trip Only downside to this hotel is the construction a few doors down. The construction noise carries over and sometimes at odd hours of night. The hotel mentioned they have complained to local authorities. Overall a wonderful experience and we loved this hotel, most importantly the staff and service!!"

"The San Grand Hotel is located in a perfect location in the Old Quarter, close to dining, shopping, bars and tons of street food! The hotel is very welcoming and a quiet oasis after the busy streets of Hanoi. The staff are extremely helpful and a special shout-out to Ruby and her team for being so kind and helpful with everything from booking our HaLong Bay trip, airport taxi, visas and actually walking to show us the nearest atm machine:) The hotel has a fabulous buffet breakfast along with an afternoon tea all included in your room rate. The rooftop bar is a great place to unwind during happy hour to take in the beautiful view over the lake. We had a balcony room, which offered a great view while taking in the sights and sounds of the city. It was a beautiful room, but didn’t have a shower, only a bathtub. All other room types had a shower though:) We would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again! Thanks everyone!!"

"Super friendly staff who gave us a warm welcome with tea and hot towels. Even though we were way too early we could get into our room already which was great after a long flight. Also on the day of our departure they let us take a quick shower before we left for the night train."

"We had an absolute incredible time. The property was gorgeous. The service was top-notch. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in all areas. We had a wonderful time sitting upstairs in the Sky bar. The bartenders have a craft that is off the charts. Recommend this place hotel it hit 10 out of 10 "
