"The ceiling of bathroom was black from mold and naturally there was an awful smell in the room. In addition the breakfast was really cold and chinese alternatives only. Never liked kongee but when you get it served room temperatured... :-( The tea was brewed the night before... small stuff like this made this trip something to remember. Will not stay there again."

"This is no doubt a gorgeous property, and with a great location right beside West Lake so perfect for people looking for idyllic strolls beside the lake or a jog in the morning in beautiful surrounds. The letdown however were the rooms - they were unfortunately slightly dated. Should the rooms be refreshed i would have no qualms choosing this hotel whenever I come to Hangzhou"

"The hotel is located by the beautiful west lake, it is super clean and very quiet. The hotel helped me to arrange a hotel taxi (super clean Audi). The taxi driver - Miss Zhang was not only drive us to the local interests, but also provide a lot of valuable information and outstanding services for us. "Nice surroundings but the villa is very cold in winter. We stayed a night in the winter. The villa was extremely cold. We called the front desk; a technician came to check and admit AC is not strong enough and would get a heater for us. But the heater never came and we had to call front desk again for a quilt. Avoid the villas in winters."

"It looks like the property is undergoing some renovations. Check-in was done by someone at the reception counter who cannot speak English. He came upto our room, but the key card was not working. We had to go back to the reception to get another card for another room. Wifi password was provided only after we asked for it. But the connection was very bad. No breakfast provided. "Really great experience! Top notch service! Kudos especially to front desk manager Fanny and breakfast buffet host Brett, whom went above and beyond their duties to accommodate our baby! Brett would reserve our table every morning and get our coffees and baby chair ready without us asking. We really appreciate them both. The only downside to the hotel is the lack of restaurants and shops next door, which makes going out a bit harder. "
