"Second stay - everything as excellent as the first. Olde world charm from the outside, modern comfort inside. Great location, their own live music venue under the hotel, good choice of other local pubs and restaurants on the doorstep and the Beartown brewery was well worth a 15 minute walk"

"I loved every moment of my stay. I needed a relaxing break and this gem was perfect. I loved the decor in the hotel and had a lovely room. A well equipped gym and clean pool. Breakfast was included which was a bargain. Will defo come back to visit ☺️"

"The venue is in a beautiful historic building. The facilities are great including a pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The rooms had massive comfy beds and were cleaned daily with plenty of towels and extra tea, coffee and biscuits. My only quibble is that the rooms didn’t have internet tvs. "
