"Everything during our stay was absolutely perfect. Room requests were met exactly, our dining option was amended to suit a last minute change of of plans, as was our spa booking. Every member of staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel, bar, restaurants and spa are exceptionally well kept and we'd love to stay again"

"The stay was great, staff are excellent. The room was lovely and clean, slight down was the walls were marked but everything that could be cleaned was spotless. I marked down as on our last morning there was no hot water, this was due to their boiler breaking down so not a fault of the hotel, the reception apologised and said that we were welcome to use the showers in the spa! But unfortunately it was freezing outside and it's a bit of a walk to the spa so a cold wash had to do!! Will stay there...

"Lovely hotel, rooms nice and comfortable,bed nice and big, pillows a bit hars for my liking, shower was a bit hit and miss, onsite pub a treat, didnt really have any interactions with staff, as check in you done yourself,which i personally dont like, overall not a bad stay "

"Lovely building. Didn't use the spa so can't comment on this. Slept in the stable area, nice room but a bit cold despite heater being full on. Good bar menu. "

"It was a nicely decorated room, and the toiletries were good quality. The air conditioning did not work, and it did get quite warm. The breakfast was very good, and was well stocked. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It was peaceful and you could not hear traffic which was good. I liked the leisure facilities, especially the heated pool and steam room."

"Very friendly and helpful check-in, clean and comfortable room with a good shower. Very cold when we entered the room but it quickly warmed up. Very convenient place to stay with easy parking once we solved the puzzle of getting to the back of the hotel :) We'll be back. The double room would have been improved with a second chair."
