My only suggestion would be that I noticed a few spiders behind the headboard and curtain, along with some dust and cobwebs in a couple of areas, which gave the impression that those spots hadn't been used in a while. "We had a wonderful two days here using it as a base for sightseeing in Stratford and Warwick. We stayed in the Victorian Garden Suite which is worth the extra cost with fabulous views of the gardens and grounds. Service was first class. We had breakfast and evening meals both days. Food was good, some of it outstanding. "

"Our go to hotel when we stay in Stratford. A historic hotel that oozes authenticity. Yes, it could do with a makeover in certain areas of the main building but these do not detract from the overall pleasantness of the stay. Excellent breakfast offering. If you plan to use the spa facilities then a small padlock is recommended to secure your belongings. Totally recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Stratford area. "

Amazing view, Amazing service

"I have wanted to stay here for years and the experience lived up to my high expectations. I paid extra for a city view room and it was worth it! - the view was amazing! The service I received from everyone was great too, the team really went out of their way. I was able to check in slightly early, got a complimentary drink and a nice personal touch to my room. I will be back!"

"What makes a great hotel is the staff. From the Manager down everyone was well-trained, helpful and welcoming. It's in a great location just at the end of Chinatown about 10 mins from Birmingham New Street within easy reach of restaurants and bars. Although it's a budget hotel it's smart, modern and comfortable. Ok it may not have sophisticated dining but you can get pizza and a beer there. It's a budget hotel with luxury brand service. If I'm in Birmingham this will be my goto hotel."
