"Room 10 - right by the office. Handy for car park to rear. Quite noisy when the office is busy. When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. He quickly removed what appeared to be used towels from the bathroom and replaced them. "For an overnight stay so close to Stansted airport at a very reasonable price this was ideal"

"Perfect friendly welcome from the lovely girl on reception, was transfered from a local crack den called Stifford Clays farm due to double booked so was so relieved to stay in such a nice hotel with friendly pleasant staff, would certainly stay here again"

"Lovely room. Easy access. Proper Hot water and heating unlike many places these days which was a Godsend. Lovely breakfast room and the whole place beautifully clean. 24 hour soft drinks and snacks available which meant my 3am snack fest eliminated my hangover. Thanks Jo & Buzz! See you next time :)"

"The owner has created a good, comfortable, clean, cost effective place in a decent area of Southend. The check in, security and facilities are well organised."

"This worked out great for our family. We spent most of our time in nearby Bishop’s Stortford with family. For rest, morning coffee and winding down in the evening, this place was perfect. It was clean and quiet, the mornings and evenings were cool and calm, very relaxing. The place is a bit remote, but that was easily remedied by the superior taxi service we experienced during our stay. "It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."
