"I have trouble walking and the lift was out of order on arrival. Not to worry, the sevice team swapped our first floor room for a ground floor more accessible one as soon as they saw the problem. Thank you so much for for your kindly intervention. We had a good night sleep and the breakfast was outstanding. This set us up for the ferry journey to the Isle of Wight. Superb!"

"I stayed alone here for two nights and found this to be good budget accommodation. I received a warm welcome, got shown to my room. This contained a very comfortable double bed, a hanging rail, bedside cabinets, TV, tea, coffee, kettle and hairdryer. The bathroom had a walk in shower, loo, loo rolls, sink, towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap. Everything was well cleaned. "Enjoyed a lovely, romantic mini break here. Very clean room (no.4 in the garden) great shower pressure, working tv, tea, coffee, hair dryer, iron, easy check-in. Excellent full english cooked breakfast and fruit cereal etc. Although its a pub inn its a very peaceful room because the pub is more of a gastro pub and everyone went home by 10pm so we had an extremely good night sleep. Recommended!"

"The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process."

"The staff were excellent - when we first checked in we found the room, as it had been styled in a certain way, was very dark and not what we wanted. They could not change our room on the first night as they were full but offered us a choice of rooms for the second night. They could not have been more accommodating. "

"James was great at communicating and very helpful. Even posted back to us a couple of small things we had left at the house. The house is as described. the bed in the main bedroom the only one we used was very comfortable. Despite being horrible weather the house was always warm and the heating was easy to control. The kitchen is well equipped."
