"Very friendly staff. Poorly served by public transport. Very “70’s” style Rooms sorely in need of an update and facelift. No USB ports. Very much a “transit” or “workman’s/white van man’s” hotel. Great for the golf course though I gather!"

"Room was clean, but a little smelly after running the tap. Wardrobe was ridiculously small, like an armoir rather than a wardrobe. My dresses didn’t fit. Luckily radiator in bedroom was adjustable as it was very warm. Heaps of tea and coffee but we had to pop our fresh milk onto the windowsill outside as no fridge in room. Staff were excellent Slept well despite what appeared to be someone playing (badly) the last post on a cornet, down the hall."

"The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms were spacious and clean the gentleman who checked us in was a little unwelcoming and frosty. Car parking you had to pay for, which Marriott could have covered the cost."

"This was a great hotel for our family weekend away to Paultons Park. The Reception staff were 5 star ... others we encountered around the hotel were fine but not to the same standard as the front of house Gentleman who checked us in. The hotel is clean and the breakfast standard was good but they seemed to run out of food very quickly and it took quite a while to replenish. The bar is a bit lacking in variety but it was fine for a quick drink. We had dinner at a pub called The Farmers House (outstanding food and service) so cannot comment on dinner but the menu looked fine and not overly priced. We went to the pool between 5pm and 6.30pm. It was very busy but the kids loved it. Overall an enjoyable stay and we would book again. "

"Used the pool, steam and jacuzzi. All facilities within that area were immaculately clean, including the changing room. Staff were friendly and helpful. "
