"Love this guest house, it has lots of character and original features from its previous farming days. The hosts are absolutely lovely, so welcoming and friendly and cannot do enough for you. "Lovely hotel and very nice staff. Very conveniently located in the town and for visiting the castle. We gave 4 stars for 2 reasons: 1) although they allow dogs in the rooms, they're not allowed in the breakfast room so they suggested we either left our dog in our room on her own (which we did and she barked continuously) or we breakfast separately - most places have a dog-friendly eating area; and 2) parking is quite a challenge. Otherwise, a lovely stay."

"It was a pleasant stay after visiting Alnwick Gardens. The room was about average size but walk up on third floor. The room was clean and as usual air conditioning was provided by opening the window. Parking is available but not for the faint of heart if you are not used to driving in the UK. Would consider staying there again if we are ever in the area."
