"Booked last minute as we needed to break our journey. Arrived at 20.30 hrs. Staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. "We had a fabulous time at the Bridges B&B. Lesley was the perfect host, so friendly and helpful we immediately felt it was home from home. Field of Rape, Ewe Hill I took the Public Bridleway from Elford to Newhouses intending to pop into this grid square. But to my disappointment the field was full of rape. The GPS said I was 19m outside the square. To make matters worse the farmer had planted right up to the hedge line obliterating the bridleway. My cycle was yellow with the pollen. In the distance can be seen the two patches of woodland in this square, Fox Covert and Barber's Cover.
