"Had a hard time getting ahold of host at first and couldn’t access the house for a bit. Found an open and unlocked bedroom window and the laundry was a mess but we did end up being able to use it. There was also a neighbor yelling in the streets our first day. Other than that, house was newer and comfortable and close enough to the caverns for easy access. We would stay again if we were back in the area. "

"The house was great. Very clean. Everything was labeled (light switches, kitchen cabinets, etc.) Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating. Lots of towels, extra pillows, blankets. We would definitely stay there again if we returned to Carlsbad."

"Centrally located home, that made navigation in and around the area easy. Owner/host was overly accomodating going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. House that feels like a home, feels lived in but cozy. Would definitely stay again."

"Poor, unattractive neighborhood, dirt front yard without any landscaping and an old Dryer sitting on front porch, near front door. Living room looks baron with only a couch against one wall and TV. on the opposing wall. It is the only TV in the house, none in any bedroom, no dishwasher, no family dining area, no mirror in master bedroom, not even in connected half bath (over the sink?). Toilet paper too far to reach in main bathroom. Completely disappointed in property and price."

"My family and I stayed three nights here and it was mostly great! The house was nice and clean. The bunk room was great for the kids and the Ninja Turtle game was a hit! There were a few communication issues. I messaged the host about a few concerns and only got automated messages in return. It would have been nice to get a real answer. The location was very convenient and the neighborhood was nice. Overall, a nice stay!"

"We were glad to find a dog-friendly property on the south side of town for closest access to GMNP and Carlsbad Caverns. The kitchen had everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner and we liked the proximity to our hikes (under an hour’s drive). The yard wasn’t really dog friendly as it was just weeds and rocks, but it was fully fenced. The house was clean and had plenty of soap, paper products, spices, etc. "

"We enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable. My son slept in the office. He liked the privacy but he said the middle of the bed sunk a few inches away from the wall so he didn’t sleep well. We didn’t know if it was a folding bed that might not have locked the whole way or not. Other than that, he liked it a lot. Didn’t take long to get to the caverns. Very enjoyable trip!"
