"Had a lovely day out at the nearby zoo and this hotel was very convenient to be able to stay close by and enjoy a mini break. The staff and service was brilliant and really friendly. The hotel is a little tired in places but the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Disappointed that the swimming pool was closed during our stay but it didn't affect our overall experience. Food in the restaurant was lovely and breakfast was also really good with lots to choose from. Would recommend "

"The Ship Leopard Hotel was the perfect place for us to see our son off from the naval base when he went on deployment. Ideally situated close to great viewing points for his departure, shops and plenty of places to eat & drink plus it has its own car park, which is great when you're visiting somewhere for the first time and you're not really sure where you are or where you're going!
