"The property was exactly what was listed. Appreciated being able to take our dogs. The only let down was how dirty it was, a dead mouse, bird feathers under our bed, blow fly sitting in a mug of fat on a window sill, dirty toasted sandwich press etc.. felt like the kitchen needed a really good clean. Also frustrating that you have to take your own rubbish home and the dump was closed the day we left. We did our best to leave it cleaner than we found it. Appreciated all the cleaning products...

"We came up with a large group of friends for a ski weekend. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to ski, but we had so much fun doing other things around Raetihi - the dinosaur house, carrot adventure park and the tip shop were some of our favourite things to do. "The chalet is very well appointed and in good condition. I liked the cosiness but with all the conveniences and appliances you might need. What I didn't like was the reliance on previous guests to make the place clean and ready for the next guests, with no obvious thorough check in between. In particular, the bed wasn't made up and it was very difficult to find the right sheets for the bed.
