"We came up with a large group of friends for a ski weekend. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to ski, but we had so much fun doing other things around Raetihi - the dinosaur house, carrot adventure park and the tip shop were some of our favourite things to do. "This is our 3rd time to stay at the Dunes, the spa pool and views are amazing. However the plumbing is needing some attention. We wondered why there was a plunger beside the toilet and the kitchen taps are a bit tired. But it was still an enjoyable stay and we couldn't fault the cleanliness"

"Half house, half museum, we loved Monday Cottage! It is old, but comfortable and full of old-fashioned charm. We stayed five days and still didn't finish checking out all of the fascinating collection of books, records, pictures, ornaments and other miscellanea with which the house is filled.
