Two Rivers Ohakune

3.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"I returned to Japan last week. I was lucky to start my first trip to New Zealand by spending the first two days at Two Rivers Ohakune. The location is surrounded by beautiful nature and the sound of a beautiful river. The rooms are clean and well designed, and are designed to ensure privacy so that you won't be disturbed by anyone. And above all, the warm hospitality of the hosts is wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place to travelers who want to avoid the crowds in tourist spots. I...

Charmae Guest House, Character home by the river. 7 x Beds, (sleeps 10)

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (113)
"We had a group of 4 players attending a golf tournament in Wanganui and stayed 4 nights. It was clean, tidy and well presented with far more available beds for larger groups. Great friendly hosts to deal with and very efficient. They had left cereals, condiments etc available for our use whilst we didn't use them I am sure many would find this useful. Highly recommend this place and couldn't fault anything at all. Thanks for sharing your lovely house with us."

1900's Villa on the forgotten world road

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (43)
"Mill Hill is truely sereal place to visit. From the rolling hills, the quaint wee river, self-shading sheep that looked adoringly strange with suckling lamb, chucks the provided fresh eggs, the grumpy bull, bird-song and of course Kitten who hosted us with love and respect, What not to love! And Amanda’s hospitality, such a treat. It is our new home away from home, or do we just move in permanently? Now that we have our Whangamōmona republic passports.🤗🙏 "

Relax in the Wanganui Dunes

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (280)
"This is our 3rd time to stay at the Dunes, the spa pool and views are amazing. However the plumbing is needing some attention. We wondered why there was a plunger beside the toilet and the kitchen taps are a bit tired. But it was still an enjoyable stay and we couldn't fault the cleanliness"
