"We stayed one night in The General's lodge. It was clean and perfect for our needs. The staff, especially Nona, could not have been more friendly and helpful. My only recommendation would be to lower your pet fee from $250, to $100 per stay. I did not bring my dog on this trip because it was cheaper to get a sitter. Had the pet fee been lower, I would have booked the whole holiday weekend instead of just one night. This is just a suggestion and not a critique! It was a great stay!"

"The hotel bed and shower was okay . The rest of the place was a dump. The only staff member there was really rude but most horribly problem was the door barely locked Ike i was concerned it was not going to lock. Creepy people were peeping into our room. Do NOT stay here! "
