"Communication was lacking with the host due to e-mail issues. I found this part of the process stressful as the reason for the trip was very important personal family reasons. VRBO were not much help and advised if we arrived and couldnt get access, to call them and they would make alternative arrangements. Hard to see how they would have rehomed 4 adults and a dog at such short notice. Finally got the access code from the host 24 hours before the trip. Upon arrival everything was as described...

"The apartment that I stayed is not sea-viewing. The apartment has clear sign of require maintenance. What frustrated me most is that Regency Apartments charged my card eventhough I have already fully paid to Hotels.com. The rational from Regency Apartments is that they could not charge against Hotels.com. But this is not my issue.
