"Lovely hotel, great hotel, fab staff"

"Check-in was fine, but the parking situation is horrid! The hotel is a beautiful old seafront hotel which has been nicely updated. The dinner in the dining room was delicious as was the breakfast buffet. My room was well appointed and had all the luxuries that one would want. They did not have a conversion plug for an American iPhone, but the lady in reception was kind enough to charge my phone for me whilst I ate. Another nice feature was my petite balcony.but sadly, all paled to the lack of...

"Really enjoyed our stay at the Duke of Cumberland! We’ve been coming to Whitstable for years and are pleased to see that this great pub has finally been given some TLC. Whitstable was definitely in need of a nice boutique hotel in the centre of town! "

"Driftwood Beachhouse is perfectly located to enjoy fresh air, birdsong and peace and quiet. Jez was a great host, really friendly and accommodating, giving us helpful local advice and getting the hot tub ready each evening. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms and outside spaces are really charming, decorated with character and you feel at home. Highly recommended!"

"A bright, clean and contemporarily furnished space with everything we needed. There were just a couple of (minor) niggles such as the fact that there's very little space to get around the bottom of the bed if you need the bathroom in the night and the bathroom cabinet could be moved higher up the wall; its current position inhibits access to the sink.But otherwise we had no complaints and we enjoyed our stay."

"Absolutely thrilled with our stay at the Crescent Turner. The room was spacious, very clean and decorated beautifully. Lovely attention to detail everywhere. Very friendly staff and nice food selection. Breakfast (eggs Benedict) was lovely. Excellent value room. Would have no hesitation to recommend to friends and will definitely be back"
