The accommodation was as pictured, the shower was hot and powerful, the kitchen had 2 electric hob rings/microwave and fridge. All the required utensils for simple cooking, tea, coffee and sugar . "This is a lovely property at the heart of a busy village - beautifully decorated and very homely. We hosted Christmas for our family and it made a perfect home from home. I hadn't realised that this was the owner's own home, therefore the lack of available storage caught us out a bit. If we were staying for a couple of nights, outside of Christmas, the lack of storage wouldn't have been a problem, but, 5-6 clothes hangers between five adults, over 5 days at Christmas just wasn't enough. "We had a great family weekend away. The house is lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Its run by the pub next door and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good location for shops if you run out of supplies. BBQ could do with a good clean as too dirty and rusty to use. Stairs very narrow and windy so not suitable for people with limited mobility."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage, being very old, is just what we wanted, yet there were still all the mod cons to make life easy. The staircase was very interesting, to say the least and a wonderful feature. The log burner was great and gave off a lot of heat, which was especially enjoyable when we had one cold and very wet evening in October."
