The house is light and airy inside, which helped when we had a few days of rain. The location is secluded in the woods (be careful, we did find ticks on us) but a short drive away from the beaches. "Most of the properties for rent in this area tend to be musty lake cottages--so we were overjoyed when we checked in and saw this place is a wonderful exception. The house was well furnished, updated, and with really fun amenities (fire pit! screened in back porch!). We also enjoy that it was steps away from a small, clean sand beach at the nearby pond.
