The house is light and airy inside, which helped when we had a few days of rain. The location is secluded in the woods (be careful, we did find ticks on us) but a short drive away from the beaches. "Most of the properties for rent in this area tend to be musty lake cottages--so we were overjoyed when we checked in and saw this place is a wonderful exception. The house was well furnished, updated, and with really fun amenities (fire pit! screened in back porch!). We also enjoy that it was steps away from a small, clean sand beach at the nearby pond. Our kids loved seeing the animals every day and riding bikes down the quiet roads. The location next to hiking trails and with water views can't be beat. An absolute gem, and we will be back!"
