"The property offers a high standard of basic accommodation. The food was great - a good selection of food and drink - and the service excellent. Not so good was the staircase leading up to the rooms, which was steep, winding and with narrow steps. I appreciate this is a period property and it worked for me; however, those with mobility issues may struggle even with staff assistance.
