"Beds very comfortable. Cast iron grill good and very good service. Neither of us could work the shower in the room and think it was broken- reported this at checkout to be told we should have let them know and they would have sent maintenance- we were going to Heathrow so no time for that. Overall though it was good."

"Superb accommodation. Tom, the host was very accommodating. He left a voice message in my phone if ever we will arrive late. Then I also received an email. To our surprise he let us stay in a very spacious room. An upgrade and it did not affect the payment that we booked. Thanks so much for making our stay very memorable."

"Clean, equipped with everything you need for a short stay and everything worked. However, it was noisy, at least the room faced towards the busy street. You could hear every single car through the closed window, someone's car alarm sounded in the middle of the night. Next time the house undergoes a refurbishment they ought to put another layer of windows at this room. "

"Its a bit run down but clean. Its in a house so could be noisy. Its conveniently located to the terminal. The check in experience should be improved as initially i felt it was a scam asking for payment i needed to confirm before making the payment ! An initial email with the dedicated number may help. "

"Arrived for a 2 night stay to be told our second night was cancelled due to government take over of the hotel. No call/email warning us of this so we arrived with two tired children and couldn’t then check into our room for three hours whilst I called hotels.com to try and sort it out. Hotel staff were useless and wouldn’t even make eye contact or offer help. Ended up ringing the USA for hours as hotels.com don’t have a UK switchboard. Abysmal service"

"Indian restaurant closed which was disappointing as this was a determining factor in my decision to stay. Explanation being ‘they’re doing something in the kitchen’ but not communicated at any point in the booking process. Also never mentioned gym or pool during check in so maybe that was closed too..."
