Realised after 3 bad nights sleep that the bed had been made with the mattress upside down. The soft side was facing down. Left a note for the cleaners to turn it for the next guests benefit."

The safe does not work and they have no intention of fixing it? Well, that one was disconcerting because I have two months’ worth of cash to worry about, but that’s OK. "We were very happy with the layout and the views from the deck/balcony and primary bedroom were spectacular. The location was convenient for transit, restaurants, shops, the IMAX theatre, and the Auckland Art Gallery which is a stop for the Explorer (Hop On Hop Off) bus."
