"I travel to Bristol for work at the uni quite often, and so I’ve tried a few different hotels around Clifton. The Washington is my favourite to stay in — always low noise, always friendly staff, always comfy and clean beds. The building is a little worn down, inside and out, but if you’re looking for a consistently good, lower cost hotel to stay for a few days, this is the place."

"It's a great spot in central Bristol. Easy to get around from here. As it's the centre and near a lot of bars it can be quite be quite noisey. "

"The room was clean and tidy, staff were very polite and helpful. I didn't realise breakfast was included which was an additional bonus and was very nice. Slept really good on a very comfortable bed. The only thing to let it down was the shower pressure not being very strong. I will be staying here again."

"This is a site the is still being worked on. The rooms were incredibly well equipped and the apple juice and Nature Valley bars were a lovely touch. This is a perfect stop over for Bristol airport and will be great once the building works have been completed. Would definitely stay here again."

"Exactly as advertised. Big room with a comfortable bed and good shower. Just be aware that you need to carry your bags up a couple of flights of stairs to access the accommodation. Dining is easy with the pub’s restaurant downstairs. There were also other dining options (take away) within short walking distance. "

"From the outside the property looked a bit tired but on entering we loved the friendly warm welcome. The ambiance in the bar and dining areas was so lovely and the choice of food really great - it was truly appetising! Wonderful stay - we’ll certain stay again if we’re in the area. "

"The property is magnificent, weird, wonderful and interesting. The owner Tony was very accommodating and explained the history of the house which is really informative and intriguing. Our room was spotless and beautiful. I would highly recommend to stay here great value for money and a beautiful fascinating stay! "

"Hossam was a very friendly and patient host. The property is well situated in terms of public transport links and good access to all amenities. The wifi is good as is having a communal fridge. "

"We stayed here for my husbands birthday weekend Joss welcomed us like family. The room and serivce was amazing We was made to feel so welcome. Joss had a card sent to our room for jons birthday Which was a lovely touch. The area is stunning and so quiet. The bed omg the bed was so comfortable If we didnt have to be up early for longleat we would of slept in all day lol. Jon and i stayed in room 2 the beech tree room It was cosy and so quite. "I was very happy with my en-suite room at the Parasol Weston. It was very clean and comfortable, and fortunately (and skillfully!) I was able to park close by. Although I entered the building using a code as instructed, I did actually meet the owner on arrival who was friendly and welcoming."

"The room was very clean, beds comfy, en suite was nice and clean, huge TV, WIFI was brilliant, fridge was a nice touch as was tea. Coffee and biscuits, there was also nice soft towels and toiletries. On the down side I didn’t see a single member off staff or another guest, didn’t really think much to the key box check in. There was no restaurant or guest TV room. The street is very scruffy and rubbish strew all over the road."
