"We were very pleased with layout, cleanliness and location of this VRBO. The home was furnished nicely and had everything we needed except for a corkscrew but we had one in our car :) and a cheese shredder (or I couldn't find it). 5 Stars from us!!"

"My kids, grandkids ages 8-17 stayed for 4 days in December. It was nice that the house was decorated. We enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong table. We visited the Farnsworth House nearby which was really interesting!"

"The River House was exactly what we needed for our family, and more! The space was great for our 4, 2, and 1 year old, and the kitchen was super easy to work out of. The hosts put so many thoughtful details into the space and had extremely quick and helpful communication. We will definitely stay here again anytime we are in the area. "

"We were disappointed in this unit. This is a very old building that needs a lot of work. The windows are filthy. The front door mats are bunched up in a pile on the front stoop. The ‘movie themed’ decor was chinsy at best. The parking area is filled with garbage, broken cinder blocks, a tire, and a junked car. There weee old shoes on balcony. The ‘landscaping’ was filled with garbage and debris. The check-in rules and regulations are extensive (requiring expensive insurance or $5,000 cash...

"Property is extremely NOT SAFE!! No heat and SHOWER DID NOT WORK, no hot water, property extremely dirty!!! I took pictures of my stay, the property was the most dirty and disappointing waste of money!! I will be ending my relationship, membership, and VIP with VRBO due to THE past 5 experiences! Missing to meet cleanliness, safety, and quality standards. The was the worst property I’ve ever seen and The service rushed, nothing was clean!!! very disappointing to have NO HEAT IN FREEZING...

"This property was falsely represented . It was not clean . We found bugs , dead and alive , in dishes and on countertops . The windows were taped shut and filthy . The noise was horrible from a resident working on a vehicle and street noise was terrible .The stairways were narrow and steep . Air conditioning was ineffective . We left after 1 night ."

"Our family (5 sisters) went on an intensive retreat with a coach at this house. It is a beautiful home. The owners were first time VRBO and offered a beautiful space for our healing. Due to their inexperience, they left the refrigerator full and dirty. It was the maid that ultimately did not complete the clean. Once we cleaned it out we were able to move 2+ days of food into the garage refrigerator and manage our meals and groceries well. The house shined more and more each day we stayed there....
