"Quick overnight stay before morning crossing to France in tunnel. Clean and comfortable. Good bed and bathroom clean. Unusual toiletry scents - Parsley stem and purple Kale? Breakfast was standard buffet and OK. Not too busy at 8am when we visited."

"Had a beautiful solo stay here, I was in room 4 at the very top of the building, my room was beautifully accented and extremely comfortable with exquisite quality furnishings. The spa treatments are wonderful and I felt utterly pampered. All the staff are friendly, polite, welcoming and professional, the food although not all to my taste was of excellent quality and freshly prepared. Will be booking an afternoon tea here with friends as it looked delectable."

"Liked the ground floor junior suite which is dog friendly and our dig cannot do stairs. It was comfortable for all of us with plenty of room for the dog. "

"A lovely mini weekend getaway, which I would thoroughly recommend. Greeted in arrival with a glsss of Prosecco and room was ready!! Room was spacious but slightly lacking in storage space. Spa room is lovely but can get overcrowded so maybe not quite as romantic / peaceful as you want. Lack of hanging space (robes) in the Spa. Steam room didn’t feel like a steam room, unfortunately but that’s the only down side. Staff were attentive at all times, polite and made us feel very welcomed! Firepit is a must! Lovely food! Slightly expensive but I guess that’s the going rate for quality service. Would visit again. "

"It's a large hotel, totally cashless from check-in to the bar, no cash accepted anywhere. Made a mistake with my room allocation but quickly resolved by Dave on reception who was doing the job of two people. Decor could be better and the rooms but for what I paid it was outstanding. £5 to park your vehicle overnight but overall very good. The view over the sea in the morning was very welcome."
