"The Pilgrim's Hotel was a great value for the money. Our room was cozy and comfortable with plenty of space for our family of three. The lounge/common area has big couches as well as tall tables with chairs, which made it a great place to spend a couple of hours in the evening playing games with our son and having a couple of drinks from the bar, which is a life-saver when you have cold wintry evenings with a five year old and going out really isn't an option (and just staying in your room would be torture). The breakfast is pretty simple fare (yogurt with toppings, cereal, cold meats and cheese, and bread). Was pleased they offered gluten free bread for myself. Coffee was disappointing and toaster didn't work well, but otherwise it's a very adequate start to the day. Great stay overall and excellent location!"

"Absolutely loved it out in the lodge. So peaceful and quiet but with everything you need. I could hear all the animals around me. Breakfast was fab definitely with the money as you get a Buffett and a cooked breakfast. "

"The Hotel was in a great location, with free parking. Short walk to Westgate area in Canterbury with great restaurants. Great base to see all of Kent. We spent three nights and the staff were amazing, helpful & friendly. The room was very clean and we had a good night sleep every time. The bathroom was in great condition. We even had a bath as it was so cosy. The best thing about this hotel it comes with an amazing steakhouse / carvery. We even decided to eat there every night for dinner as the food was so good and reasonably priced. The Breakfast was very good and they do perfect poached eggs. They catered and took care in allergens and recommend it for anyone who need to eat gluten free. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"Well presented and brilliant priced accommodation. Plenty of space and key box access was genius! Lots of drink making equipment in the room, lovely toiletries, and the included continental breakfast was perfect. Highly recommend."

"The hotel is very well located in the centre of Canterbury, only a couple of minutes walk from the cathedral, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Sanjeewa, who runs the hotel, was very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful during our stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Though the decor could use a bit of an update, this didn't affect our stay at all, and you can hardly expect more at such a reasonable price! A continental breakfast was also included with toast, crumpets, muffins, yoghurts, cereal, jams, honey, etc. Though there wasnt any parking at the hotel we booked parking a minute's walk away through Just Park, which worked well for us. Sanjeewa did contact me prior to our stay though, advising about parking and offering to let us drop off luggage to save us having to walk with it. We all really enjoyed our stay at Greyfriars Lodge and would happily visit again in the future. "
