"Booking was cancelled while driving to the venue, 2 hours before the potential check in time of 3pm. Absolutely disgusting situation with 2 young children trying to find alternative accommodation last minute with nothing similar around."

"The property was in a generally good state of repair and presentation, with the only area in need of attention being the shower cubicle . The dining area in the kitchen was tight for four adults. However, most things are provided and to a good standard. The garden room was a nice bonus and the off road parking was necessary as the road was quite narrow. "Really enjoyed it and it’s in a good location for pubs and for the bus out. The room was clean, however sofa isn’t comfortable and neither is the bed, leaving no comfort whatsoever which would have been nice when your tired travelling around the lakes. The light from the emergency exit also made it really hard to sleep. The key for the door needs fixing. It took us atleast 5 minutes everytime to get in, I believe the key is twisted but needs replacing. Overall I think it’s worth the money...

Superb stay

"Great hotel, we had amazing time with our sausage dog , very friendly staff! Great food, good location, clean room and bathroom, fantastic breakfast, matteracce a bit hard and bed quite small, tv needs upgrade we are wearing glasses couldn’t see properly tv too small! Shaun and Brown hair receptionist working super hard and long hours they should get some bonus for great customer service! Good value for money! Highly recommended, definitely come back! "

a good place to stay

"Really good stay, staff are always really helpful, room clean and comfortable. Sometimes the wifi can drop but it's manageble with working. Rooms nearby were quiet noisy this time, I've stayed before and never heard anyone, all was quiet by midnight and a good nights sleep. Overall recommend, lovely location and great value, thank you team"

"Stayed overnight on a dinner bed and breakfast rate. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was nice but the bathroom was in need of an upgrade, that being said it was very clean. Inner was fantastic all meals are homemade to a very high standard not a frozen item to be seen. Breakfast again was a good. Very central to the centre of Lancaster. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."

"We had a lovely one-night stay for my birthday. The staff were friendly and we were given a room upgrade which was a great birthday treat. The original staircase is gorgeous and our room was spacious with a lovely en-suite. The breakfast was great too. Thank you for a lovely stay."
