"Peaceful, cozy and clean. Lovely surroundings. Shame there was no breakfast or cafe/restaurant. Had to drive to get breakfast. Nice to see cows in the fields when you wake up."

"Great no-frills appartment - clean, spacious, in good condition and comfortable (low ceilings and a bit dark as the windows faced the woodland, but it couldn't be helped and it didn't spoil our stay). A pity about the damp smell in the beautiful old main building where the bar and restaurant are but all the staff were friendly, very helpful and the food was good. Good access to coastal walks and for Lancaster too. Ideal for our needs as a group of friends getting together. The pool was nice but...

"What can i say, everything was perfect. Upon entering the building using the very clear instructions and getting our key, to entering the room. Room 2 Coniston. It was absolutely spotless, very spacious with a nice homely feel to it. Kitchen area was really good, all the appliances and accessories we needed. Very comfy & large bed. Dog friendly room with a dog bed, bowl, treats and towel. Booked again for November Perfect location, you really are at the centre of the town. "
