"Great communication, and everything as described. Only downside was not that clean. Rooms and pool need a deep clean. Shane was a great host, and the property is amazing. The rooms were cool in very hot weather, with comfortable beds. "

"Staying in this shed was a blast - it's one big open space inside (bathroom is a separate room) so it feels like a party. Surrounding fields and farmlands make it feel fun, and Maria even let us feed the alpacas, they were hilarious! We were in a car accident and Maria was flexible with our arrival date, and didn't even charge us extra for moving everything back day. Extremely kind, understanding,, and attentive. I would definitely stay again "

"I was well cared for at the House with No Nails! The property is beautiful & clean, & in a gorgeous rural setting set amidst mountains, big blue skies, & farm animals. The house is an easy 25 minute drive from the Hobbiton set in Matamata, which was my plan while in this area of NZ. Highly recommended!"

"The house was absolutely beautiful and was situated about 15 minutes outside Hamilton. I have traveled a lot a the hosts were excellent. I got to meet two other guests staying there as well. I didn’t have a tv in my room but it gave me the opportunity to unplug from the world. I did log in using their high speed internet and it was the best of any location I stayed at in New Zealand. "Starlight valley was even better then we could imagine. There is not words for its beauty. It was close to lots of great hiking and 20 min to hobbiton. The Host Rachel was the kindest most helpful person and was the savior of our trip after we had some car issues. She was a great example of the kind hearted Kiwi people.
