"Gorgeous house with so much space for a group of 9. With 3 showers and toilets, no queues and such an easy getaway. Pool side party was also great fun. We loved seeing and interacting with the horses. We also hosted a tea party for my family one morning with the owner's permission, which was a huge drawcard seeing as most properties don't allow even quiet gatherings. Fast communication from the owner, overall great place to stay!"

"This home was good for a 2 night trip. We were in the area to see Hobbiton, glow worm caves, and do a hot air balloon. This was a central location for all three. The lake across the street was pleasant and enhanced the trip. Great for morning workout/walk. Around the corner was a workout station that got the job done. There were only 2 bathrooms and showers. The host was responsive and friendly. The courtyard was nice for reading. "

"Starlight valley was even better then we could imagine. There is not words for its beauty. It was close to lots of great hiking and 20 min to hobbiton. The Host Rachel was the kindest most helpful person and was the savior of our trip after we had some car issues. She was a great example of the kind hearted Kiwi people.
