"Where to begin!? Schwarzsee Hotel is amazing for skiers who travel across the continents with the mentality to enjoy the outdoors. This hotel is very convenient as it is a ski-in-and-out hotel. With the most amazing views of the Matterhorn and part of the Swiss Alps just out your window. The gondola is one minute walk and to embark further up in the mountains and all the way to Cervinia ski resort which lands in Italy!! The staff at the hotel are polite and helpful, the food is beyond delicious....

"Overall fantastic - views are second to none. The hiking around the area is unreal and it’s great to be there before the first train and tourists descend. Dinner was amazing and servers were extremely attentive. Only feedback is that for the price they could have proper coffee machines in the room! Small thing but in other cheaper hotels there were real coffee machines whereas this was cheap sachets… with nothing else around it would be nice to have a proper coffee. Everything else was amazing...

"Amazing experience!!! Hotel has a perfect location, offering breathtaking views of Matterhorn and Zermatt valley. Breakfast is an unforgettable experience for sure, again for the views around; and the food offering. Then, you have the most impressive chef; Jovanni is very passionate about his work, comes to the table to explain the details of his creation. Each night is a different epicurean journey. "My son and I had an amazing 19 days at the hotel and every day was perfect. The staff took such good care of us. They were all very friendly and helpful and fun. The room was exceptional. We plan for another 19 day stay next year and for 12 days of that time we are bringing my son's 4 adult daughters, my granddaughters for a wonderful experience to share at the Focus Matterhorn Hotel. "The property was very nice and out of the hustle of the center of Zermatt. It was a short walk to trails, very close to a gondola. You could hear neighbors easily (footsteps and voices) and we had a room above the hot tub, that was the only downside. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the adonis Hotel. We were upgraded to what we thought was the best room in the hotel as it had a balcony and a view of the Matterhorn. You need to be in good health though as there are no cars allowed and the streets are quite hilly. But the cable car access to the mountains was quite close and made for an amazing and unforgettable experience.the breakfast was quite plain but sufficient and the staff were extremely helpful."

"Hotel Firefly was one of the most perfect hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in, truly! Upon arrival the front desk walked us around the property showing us the complimentary spa area which we used each day to warm up in the evenings. Our bags were in our room when we arrived and the room even had a small kitchen so we could make a couple meals which was nice since we were almost two weeks into our vacation upon arrival. "This was the most perfect place for me and my husband to stay in Zermatt. Centrally located close to everything we wanted / needed. Hotel staff was so kind, helpful and courteous. "I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. The location is perfect. Close to everything in town and only a 10 minute walk to the Matterhorn gondola. The staff is amazing. "Beautiful and charming hotel in the perfect Zermatt location. Nice view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. Everything in town was walkable (though they sent a free shuttle to pick us up from the train station when we first arrived). We loved the pool and spa and they even made our dog feel at home. "Travelling from the US with 10 year old daughter for skiing in late december. The Matterhorn view was incredible. Friendly and helpful staff. They helped pick the right lifts and runs based on skill level. Very convenient ski room for gear. Very good breakfast with lots of options. The pool was nice as well. Between the two main lifts.
