2.0 star property

"Whatever you remember about youth hostels, this ain't it. Modern, clean, not cheap (it's Switzerland), and it has a very nice wellness spa for a rather reasonable additional charge. Food is good but not fancy, and staff were extremely helpful. The only glitch was that I booked this stay with OneKeyCash, and hotels.com (i.e., expedia) took my money and gave me a receipt showing no balance due, but then didn't actually pay the hostel! That led to lots of extra work for the hostel staff to...

Verbania - Luxury Italy Apartments

8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (33)
"Terrible communication with owner. She claims to speak English, but doesn't answer your question/request because she doesn't understand you. NO PARKING possible at all! You have to walk over a very very long distance with all your suitcases. Parking is a nightmare, because there are not enough parking spots in general, let alone for vacationers. The place itself is extremely difficult to find and an explanation is not given. The owner(s) are not able to explain, so you have to ask locals (who...

Studio with a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore, incl. 1 PP Ged.

9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (45)
"Sehr schön. Sehr schöner Blick von der großen Terrasse auf den See, abends besonders schön, wenn die Lichter in Stresa oder auf der anderen Seite in Baveno leuchten. Der Strand ist nicht eit weg, vielleicht 15-20 min zu Fuß. Es ist abgeschlossenes Gelände. Das kann man auf einem zur Wohnung gehörigen überdachten Parkplatz abstellen. Kommen bestimmt wieder einmal her. "

Charming "Blue house"

"We had a wonderful stay in this house, beautiful decorations and layout of a really comfortable house for the four of us to relaxing. A small pretty village to walk around, and it isn’t far to drive to good restaurants and bars. The garden is beautiful and lovely with a really great pool, it’s not too far to walk up and down the hill to it… But make sure you take plenty of mosquito spray! A truly beautiful home and garden for a relaxing stay. Any questions we had the owner was very quick in...
