"Wonderful stay, lovely location "

"La Palma was the perfect stay for Stresa. The lake view room balcony could not be beat. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The Sky Bar was a wonderful way to spend an early evening for drinks and the hotel is centrally located with a great breakfast. Highly recommend and would stay again! "

"Excellent staff and room. They allowed us to leave our bags earlier than checks in time which was a nice favor! Room was very clean with all necessary amenities. Has room, shower, separate toilet. Favorite pro was proximity of this apartment to the train. It’s literally a 3-4 min walk and perfect for touring Zurich. I think it took us 15-20 min to get to Zurich by train. Our only wish was for cooler air conditioning but it seems it is common not to have cold AC in Switzerland. Thank you! "

"The property was within easy walking of the main town of Stresa and much less expensive than the large hotels. It was also very convenient for accessing the ferries to the Borromean islands, a jewel of Lake Maggiore. The hotel decor was luxurious and the restaurant, which served a full buffet breakfast, overlooked a patio and gardens. The view from the roof top terrace was lovely. The only hitch was that I could not get the WiFi in my room to work so I had to use the WiFi in the main lounge. Overall, however, this was a very pleasant experience."
