"We had an amazing stay. The area and the house are beauriful, with one of the best views in the world. The host ,Sebastio, was super friendly and helpful and made sure that we will have the best experience. Our kids loved the place and we all can't wait to go there again. "

It was very warm during our stay, and as the villa doesn't have air conditioning it did get warm inside. Some more fans would be useful, as opening windows does increase outside noise. "We had a wonderful time at Margarida’s place-she’s truly thought of everything! We were a group of 10 family members including a baby, 6 year old and 11 and 14 year old. We all felt we had our own privacy and there were lots of places to eat and chill out around the property. The photos do not do this place justice! Margarida was a wonderful host and was on hand on the phone if we needed her but allowed us our privacy at the same time. We would love to return!"

"Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Die Mutter des Vermieters wohnt unten und ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist ziemlich zentral so dass wir Ausflüge zu den Orten im Norden an den Flüssen Minho und Lima, zur nahen Küste, nach Braga, Guimaraes und Porto unternehmen konnten. Barcelos sollte man unbedingt am Donnerstag besuchen, wenn dort Markt ist."

"We had a lovely time staying in this villa. The location is peaceful and quiet. Having a car is recommended to get about to places like Guimareas or Braga and the pool could be much deeper but other than that, we had an amazing experience! The host has superb communication and will help with whatever issues that may occur. The wine from their vineyard (Rosé and White) is very nice. I highly recommend."

"Die Anlage bietet eine tolle Aussicht, ist sehr ruhig gelegen, schön angelegt und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge. Leider war das Apartment an vielen Stellen mit schwarzem Schimmel belastet, was man auch riechen konnte. Diese Situation ist umso ärgerlicher, da wir vor Reisebeginn gezielt nach möglichem Schimmelbefall gefragt hatten, was von der Agentur verneint wurde. "

"The home is in a beautiful, peaceful location. There are many fruit trees, a pond, a swimming pool, and cute farm animals including baby sheep. Our family enjoyed the home and grounds very much. Francisca was a hospitable and gracious host. She gave us a tour of the grounds upon our arrival and provided provisions for breakfast, including eggs fresh from her chickens. We would return again to this home and recommend it to anyone looking for wonderful scenery. Our kids loved it, too!"

"My stay at this place was great, very quiet place, big property with small vineyards and a great swimming pool. Mr Ernesto was great and flexible with the check in and out (5stars to that) Nice couple of rooms for a couple each, kitchen is full equipped but oven (has a wooden oven outside) The only thing that I can mention is a lack of a full indoor living room which the bit outside is great for it any time of the day if good weather... if not is also ok and you always can burn some wood/coal...

"After a few days in Lisbon, we were ready to decompress, and this was just the place to relax. It's in a very small town without many amenities, but there is a great kitchen and supermarket just a few min walk away. The property is immaculate, and very modern. We really appreciated the quiet nights of drinking wine and playing cards, and stretching in the morning with the bright sun and beautiful deck."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. A well equipped house and the fresh water pool was a delight. The views are lovely. Arie was a great host (don't forget to ask for directions). A great getaway location with easy access (30 mins by car) to Beaches, Porto, Amarante, River Duoro etc. There is much to do in the area: sight seeing, walking, riding bikes, train ride, swimming in the sea and rivers. Everyone we came across was very friendly. We'd love to come back!"

"The house exceeded all expectations, especially the outside space, pool and gardens. The views are superb and we enjoyed the variety of places we could sit to view the surrounding countryside and sky. Very well equipped kitchen and BBQ which was above average for a holiday let. Our host was extremely helpful and her recommendations for local food and activities was fantastic. Did not want to leave after a week. "

The room was spacious, spotless and newly furnished. Kitchen was essentially fully equipped. No washer/dryer in the unit but that depends on your needs. Twins beds were comfortable. Bedding for the sofa bed was clean and comfortable as well. Housekeeping every 2 days is included. The shower gel dispenser was empty when we checked in...
