"Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

"We spent two nights in August at this villa and would have liked to stay longer. It's well equipped and very comfortable, and although there were only three of us there is plenty of room for six people. The villa is about a 20 mins walk to the beach if you don't want to drive. Lucilia, our host was there at the same time and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for your hospitality - the confiture was delicious!"

"11 of us stayed as two families, with kids ranging between 13 and 7. We were so impressed with the sheer size of the property and the grounds. It was so spacious and immaculate. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that you could possibly need. There were so many things to do around the villa, whether it was the pool, table tennis, table football, badminton or playing football, that no-one was ever bored. "This is a great retreat. The house is an odd set up, but was very fun. The location to the city was nice. The beaches nice. Close to a grocery store and food options. Very happy with our choice here."

"We all had an enjoyable stay, the house was spacious, well equipped and in a quiet residential area with few shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The pool and garden were great for the kids and the metro nearby was handy for trips into Porto. Maria was a great host and very communicative, regarding any questions we had."

"We enjoyed our stay at the mid century modern 3 level house. The view of the ocean and river was lovely, and we loved having a lemon tree in the yard. The pool was nice even though it was too cold to use it. The house could have been a bit cleaner upon arrival "

"We stayed for five days in October; the apartment had lots of space for the five of us. It is located close to the water and restaurants. The unit and the neighbourhood were both quiet. It’s easy to get downtown by bus,tram or Uber. The owner and management company were quick to respond to any questions that we had.
