"Had an issue this year with the right boat slip where it previously had a lift. On the right side it had a piece of metal that did significant damage to the boat, scratching and gouging the side. High water at the beginning of the week did not help and probably contributed to the problem.Strongly suggest removing the metal from the side of the dock and block off immediately."

"We really enjoyd this house and location on the lake. Plenty of parking for our rigs across the street."

"My husband and I stayed with our dog at this property and had a wonderful time! We have been to the trail many times during peak season, but decided we wanted to do something a little more lowkey and bring our dog. We spent quite a bit of time in the house, reading, watching TV cooking, and all of the amenities that we needed were there. Communication with the property owner, Steve, was also very easy and he was very responsive.Would recommend this cozy home! "

"My family stayed here for a short winter holiday. The house is older, but very well maintained. Kitchen and bathrooms clean and well stocked. The location on the lake is ideal. More than adequate room around the pool table for a fun game. Highly recommend"

"We watched sunsets and paddled kayaks when at the house. Daily we hiked trails at Garden of the Gods, Ferne Cliffe, and Giant City. House was roomy. We were fine with 1 bath because only 3 of us.Host was great."

"The place was as described and very clean. It was a little confusing knowing which was our place and knowing exactly what we had access to such as lawn furniture and fire pit. Overall, it was a great place and a great stay!"

"The house was large enough for me and my 2 brothers and some of our kids to stay. The 3 bedrooms on the main level was nice to each have a room for the adult couples. The spiral staircase to the lower level was a little small so you should definitely unload all kitchen items (which is on the lower level around the stairs to the back, the lights and dining table out back were nice. We ate most of our meals outside since it was so nice. the lake was not really inviting and pretty mucked but the...

"This house was centrally located for us to visit a plethora of natural sites in the western/central portion of the Shawnee National Forest. It was wonderful coming home from long days of hiking to a fully stocked kitchen to make or heat our dinners, and to relax comfortably for the evening. The countryside setting was perfect for us to feel right at home. "

"Trey’s place is wonderful, the house is gorgeous with plenty of room for everyone. The lake is beautiful, great for swimming and water fun. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need from cooking supplies to first aide. Trey is a gracious host and readily available to address any questions or concerns. We can’t wait to come back😊"

"My sister and cousins enjoyed this home so much! In spite of constant rain we found plenty to do. The beds are comfy, the floor plan is great and there is a great kitchen for group cooking. We would definitely come back again!"
