"This was a nice location in the center of Verona. Very conveniently located to most of the main tourist attractions and plenty of places to eat. The area seemed pretty safe. Keep in mind that its a communal living area so there may be other people there with you, but you just share the kitchen and the bathroom. "I spent 3 nights in the Surf Room & I cannot recommend it highly enough. This guesthouse is a haven especially after sightseeing all day. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet & nicely decorated. Windows open to the garden courtyard so it was quiet & nice view. Kettle, fridge & TV is always great when travelling solo. "Clean, quiet, comfortable, fantastic location. Our host was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Parking was easy just a few blocks away at the cittadella parking lot. At $21 euros a day, not cheap but comparable to most inner city parking prices. We ate at a few places but our favourite was the food and service at Ostinati just steps outside Ariel's main entrance. "

"No check in information was provided. No one answered when I rang the contact number. Luckily a maintenance person was passing and he helped. The room smelt of cigarette and the maintenance guy tried to say it was the air freshener he used. In fact I think it may have been that they allowed smoking right outside the windows of the room.
