"I spent 3 nights in the Surf Room & I cannot recommend it highly enough. This guesthouse is a haven especially after sightseeing all day. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet & nicely decorated. Windows open to the garden courtyard so it was quiet & nice view. Kettle, fridge & TV is always great when travelling solo. "This was a nice location in the center of Verona. Very conveniently located to most of the main tourist attractions and plenty of places to eat. The area seemed pretty safe. Keep in mind that its a communal living area so there may be other people there with you, but you just share the kitchen and the bathroom. The people who were there at the same time as me were nice and we had no problems. My only comment is that the comforter on the bed we got seemed pretty old and could have done with a...

"Clean, quiet, comfortable, fantastic location. Our host was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Parking was easy just a few blocks away at the cittadella parking lot. At $21 euros a day, not cheap but comparable to most inner city parking prices. We ate at a few places but our favourite was the food and service at Ostinati just steps outside Ariel's main entrance. "

Would benefit from directions before arrival and to nearest public parking .we had a very late night at opera night before & staff came to ask at 9am if we were still coming for breakfast which started at &.30 to 10. "No check in information was provided. No one answered when I rang the contact number. Luckily a maintenance person was passing and he helped. The room smelt of cigarette and the maintenance guy tried to say it was the air freshener he used. In fact I think it may have been that they allowed smoking right outside the windows of the room. Things got worse then, even though my booking was clearly for a comfort room with double bed and sofa bed for my son they setup the room for 2 adults. I know I...

"Lovely landlady called Laura. Very heful with map and sight seeing locations. In a quiet area but a short 10min walk to Piazza Erbe. Only downside was no secure storage room to leave bag. She kindly suggested i leave it in the lobby area as she would charge €30 to check out at 1.30pm imstead of 11am. I was running a marathon and would have finished by 12 and been at my room by 12.30-12.45 "
