"The host has thought of everything!!! I appreciated the communication but most of all it was the little things that make a difference. There is a basket of chargers, coffee and tea, and tons of other little things that just make you feel at home. It was an easy process and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!!! "Overall, we liked the property very much. The beach house was very cute and had comfortable beds, a good supply of dishes, pots and pans and linens. The outdoor patio area and furniture were very dirty making it uninviting. We brought our own lounge chairs, and were happy we did. Parking was difficult. Our main concern was the very loud traffic - day and night. Lots of very loud motorcycles. "

They're not kidding when they say minutes from the beach. Fruit trees visible from windows in living room. Clean accommodations. Easy access to the 101 and walking distance to several businesses. "We have now stayed at least 10 times at the Mandalay Shores property; there are many solid reason why we choose this property over hotels and other condos: 1) We do not have pay for parking (often a garage is with the unit); 2) We have no more that 20 feet to our car; 3) We place is always clean and "move in ready" steps to the unit (no long property walks down the hallway) 4) The kitchen is ready for cooking (we use it for snacks mostly and eat out) and you never have to ask if there is a...

"Our small work crew was in town briefly to help with a project and this was the perfect little place for them to relax. The booking was sort of last minute and Sunny Days made special accommodations so that the check in was easy. "We have stayed at the Cliff House several times over the years, and this last visit was great, as always. You can't beat the view overlooking the ocean (every room has a view). Dinner at the Shoals restaurant on the premises was very good, (although a bit pricey, but worth every penny). The Cliff House isn't fancy, but it's clean, quiet, affordable, and the location is amazing. We will be back! "

"I loved the view of the dunes and beach, all easily walkable from our room. Loved that they are dog friendly. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, I'd definitely stay there again!"

"We loved it! Such a CUTE place with nice people and amazing location with a great nearby pedestrian mall, walkable to the beach, it was terrific. Breakfast area is so nice! It’s Ventura, which has wildfires now, so I really hope they are OK and safe and that they are able to restore soon. Sending wishes for safety and healing."
